Testing with Visual Studio Team System 2010
VSTS (Visual Studio Team System) supports five key types of tests:
1. Unit testing in which you call a class and verify that it is behaving as expected;
2. Manual testing;
3. Generic testing that uses an existing test application that run as part of the biggest test;
4. Web testing to ensure the html apps function correctly
5. Load testing to ensure the app is scalable.
VSTS (Visual Studio Team System) improves the workflow storing all the development and testing information at one place. VSTS 2010 allows developers and testers to store their tests and results in one place. This allows project managers to see how many tests are passed, how many tests are failed and in which area the issues persists.
